Early Model 1987 Series 2 Escort RS Turbo were known to rust and very few have survived over the years. Parked in dry storage and been off the road for 15 years before being recommissioned 

This being the early model it is finished in rosso red rather than the later model which was far more common and was finished in radiant red.

Engine 
The engine is the original block, numbers match the log book.

Mechanical fuel injection as it left the factory rather than the electronic fuel injection which a lot of owners did and lost the originality.

Original airbox and original rubber pipes as factory with no blow off valve 

I have the original radiator to go with the car as I have upgraded to a newer radiator for efficiency.

Genuine original Ford manifold in its place 

Engine is surprisingly very quiet and smooth ,cambelt water pump engine service all done with proof 

Welding 
Work was carried out by classic car restorer in the intention that the car stays as original as possible and if welding did need to be carried out it would be close to factory finish. Photographs are available for evidence

The car was sent to escort rs turbo specialist Ian mee that has gone through each wire and has reconditioned any wires that needed to be replaced due to their age.

Stereo original wiring in place if you wanted to put the original stereo back in place
